Virtus Bologna captured its first EuroCup Top 16 win by defeating Darussafaka Tekfen 83 – 72 at home. The Turkish team dropped to 1-1 in Group E with this loss.
Julian Gamble registered a game-high 24 PIR by scoring 15 points on 7/8 2-pointers while grabbing six rebounds for Bologna. Milos Teodosic scored a game-high 19 points, mostly from the free-throw line (14/15). Kyle Weems had 11 points and seven rebounds.
For Darussafaka, Doron Lamb dropped 13 points while Sinan Guler and Bonzie Colson added 13 points apiece. The latter also had seven assists.
In Italy, Partizan Belgrade dominated Dolomiti Energia Trento 83 – 58. Rade Zagorac (11 points) and Marcus Paige (11 points) scored in double figures for the winning squad.
James Blackmon had 12 points for Trento that is now 0-2.
