AS Monaco enjoyed a comfortable 86-61 victory against visiting Rytas Vilnius in Round 4 of EuroCup’s Top 16 to move forward with its second one.
Norris Cole led four more Monaco scorers in double digits with his 17 points and six assists, while Eimantas Bendzius posted a team-high of 13 points for Rytas.
The French side stormed by the first half leading with an incredible 53-15 score at halftime. Rytas made its run in the second one to cover up some ground, but it was impossible to overcome Monaco that kept them at 3 points in the second period.
Earlier in the day, Galatasaray Sigorta Istanbul defeated UNICS Kazan 90-76 at home, paced by Aaron Harrison who posted a game-high 28-point performance. UNICS’ Errick McCollum finished the game with 24 points.
