Promitheas Patras announced the addition of former EuroCup champion James Bell. The American forward returns to action following his 2018-2019 stint with Buducnost Podgorica.
Bell had agreed with Partizan Belgrade in November but he didn’t join the Serbian team due to “failing his medical tests,” per the club. He had been a free agent since.
In the 2018-2019 season, Bell averaged 4.7 points and 2.2 rebounds with Buducnost in 14 EuroLeague games plus 8.3 points and 2.7 rebounds in the ABA League.
With Promitheas, Bell will be returning to EuroCup where he previously played with Nancy (2015-2016), Darussafaka (2017-2018) and Cedevita (2018-2019). In 2018, he won the title with Dacka.
