Unicaja Malaga coach Luis Casimiro will be able to count on only seven players from his usual rotation for the clash against Joventut Badalona in the 7DAYS EuroCup on Wednesday (March 4).
Although Unicaja sports director Manolo Rubia said that the club asked for the match to be postponed, EuroLeague explained that an official request was never made, according to Diario SUR.
Axel Toupane, Jaime Fernandez, Carlos Suarez, Alberto Diaz, Melvin Ejim and Deon Thompson have been sidelined with injuries. Suarez and Ejim might be able to play but it’s unclear how ready they really are while the coach has the option to bring along two youth players.
Axel Bouteille and Marko Simonovic who recently signed with the club, can’t be registered for the EuroCup roster as they arrived after the trade deadline.
