Ognjen Jaramaz with 19 points led a balanced team effort as Partizan NIS Belgrade got the 91-75 win over Dolomiti Energia Trento and celebrated in front of their fans the qualification to the 7DAYS EuroCup playoffs.
Everything was already decided before the tip-off, but Partizan put on a show for the home crowd and become the only team with a 5-1 record in this season’s Top16.
Rashawn Thomas added 13 points and nine rebounds for the winning side.
Trento led by one point (22-21) after the first quarter, however, the hosts took over by halftime (45-39) and never looked back. Justin Knox scored 20 points for the losing side and James Blackmon added 19.
The second ticket for the playoffs from Group E will be decided on Thursday also at Belgrade in the relocated game due to coronavirus between Darussafaka Tekfen and Segrafredo Virtus Bologna.
