Alan Williams inked a 1+1 contract to extend his run with Lokomotiv Kuban, the Russian club announced on Thursday.

“I am very glad to extend my contract with Loko,” said the UC Santa Barbara alum, “I missed the team and can’t wait for the new season to start. I am happy to continue playing at Krasnodar in front of terrific fans.”

Williams moved to Russia last summer. He went on to debut in the 7DAYS EuroCup averaging 9.4 points and 9.4 rebounds per contest but his side failed to advance to the Top 16.

Up to the early conclusion of the 2019-20 VTB United League campaign, the former NBA player put up 11.2 points and 10.1 rebounds per game establishing himself among the most effective Loko players.

From 2015 to 2019, Williams competed in 67 NBA games between the Phoenix Suns and the Brooklyn Nets. The G League and China’s CBA make out the rest of his professional career so far.
