Cedevita Olimpija, Mikael Hopkins will continue their co-operation, as the two sides agreed on a two-year contract extension on Wednesday as the club announced.
Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana ensured that big man Mikael Hopkins will stick with the team through the 2021-22 season by signing him to a contract extension, the club announced on Wednesday.
Hopkins (2.06 meters, 27 years old) averaged 8.3 points and 3.6 rebounds off the bench in 10 games in the 7DAYS EuroCup last season, his first with the club. He also posted 9.2 points and 6.5 rebounds per game in the Adriatic League. Hopkins has also played for Bulgarian team Balkan Botevgrad and Istanbul DSI, Samsun and Yalova in Turkey. He helped Balkan win the Bulgarian League in 2019.
