Former NBA player Perry Jones III committed to a second season with Frutti Extra Bursaspor, the Turkish outlet announced on Sunday.
The Baylor alumni, 28th pick of the 2012 NBA draft, moved back to Europe last summer following his brief stint with Khimki Moscow Region in 2016. However, his 2019-20 run was shortened due to the coronavirus pandemic. He averaged 13.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per BSL contest.
Moving forward to his second year in Turkey, both Jones and his team are set for the 7DAYS EuroCup. Building on its newly-introduced platform, the Turkish club has re-signed Chris Jones and added Malik Newman.
Perry Jones played in 155 NBA games, including 12 playoff tilts, with the Oklahoma City Thunder from the 2012-13 season through to the 2014-15 campaign. He went on featuring himself in the G League with the Iowa Wolves and in one game with Khimki, before joining Bursaspor.
