Promitheas Patras signed forward/center Mo Faye to a one-year deal, the Greek club announced. Faye returns to Promitheas where he previously has two stints from 2016 through 2018.
Faye spent 2019-2020 with Avtodor Saratov. He averaged 8.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists in VTB League before the season’s cancelation.
With Promitheas, Faye will be returning to EuroCup. The Senegalese big man previously played in the competition in 2018-2019 as a player of Crvena Zvezda.
Promitheas was one of the pleasant surprises of the 2019-2020 EuroCup before the season shut down, making the playoffs in its first-time appearance in the league.
