Johnny O’Bryant will stay in Russia at least for one more year. Lokomotiv Kuban announced that they extended their contract with the US forward who signed with them last summer after playing for Maccabi Tel Aviv.
O’Bryant competed in all thirty of the team’s games in the 2019-20 season, with 29 appearances as a starter.
He was the top scorer of the team with 15.5 points per game on average. In the Eurocup, he scored 13.8 points and also added 5.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game on average while his numbers in the VTB League were 16.4 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists.
