Damien Inglis moves to Monaco

Damien Inglis joined AS Monaco, the French team announced on Monday.

“I am extremely motivated and excited to start with my new team. Monaco is an ambitious team,” he noted via his new side’s official site, “Coach Zvezdan Mitrovic did not take long to convince me on the phone. Also, Dee Bost wanted me to play with him. Dee, my guy, I just couldn’t refuse.”

Inglis, 25, made his way to 20 NBA games with the Milwaukee Bucks during the 2015-16 season before returning to his native France. He since joined SIG Strasbourg twice with a middle run for Limoges CSP, also made a brief stop in Italy for Orlandina.

Up next Monaco and the 7DAYS EuroCup. His previous EuroCup experience stems from Limoges and brought up 15 appearances featuring 5.3 points per match.

Last year, he averaged 8.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per Basketball Champions League contest with Strasbourg. In 23 Jeep Elite Pro A games, he went for 11.0 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game.
