John Holland signs a one-year deal with UNICS

Former Cleveland Cavaliers guard in John Holland has signed a one-year contract with UNICS Kazan, the club announced.

The 31-year-old spent this past season in Israel with Hapoel Jerusalem, averaging 11.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.7 steals, and 1.1 assists over 22 games split between the domestic league and the Basketball Champions League.

Holland logged 26 NBA games (25 with Cleveland, one with Boston) while he also played four seasons in the G League. In 2017, NBA D-League Impact Player of the Year.

UNICS also tabbed Isaiah Canaan, Nate Wolters, John Brown, Jordan Morgan while keeping Pavel Antipov and Jamar Smith but parting ways with Errick McCollum, Alex Tyus, and Raymar Morgan among others.
