Promitheas Patras signed forward Charis Giannopoulos, the Greek club announced. The 31-year-old player will be making his EuroCup debut with his new team.
Giannopoulos spent the two previous seasons with AEK Athens. He finished 2019-2020 with 5.0 points, 1.6 rebounds in the Basketball Champions League along with 7.3 points and 2.2 rebounds in the Greek Basketball League.
Throughout his career, Giannopoulos also played for such teams as Olympiacos, Panathinaikos plus Manresa and Obradoiro in Spain. He won the 2013 Greek League and Cup titles with Panathinaikos plus the 2018 Intercontinental Cup and 2020 Greek Cup with AEK.
