AS Monaco signed guard Yohan Choupas, the club announced. Choupas, who comes from Monaco’s fellow French club Pau Orthez, will make his EuroCup debut with his new team.
“He’s a young player with great potential, athletic, who must take advantage of his arrival to Monaco to take an important step forward,” Monaco coach Zvezdan Mitrovic said for the club’s website.”I hope he thrives with us.”
Choupas averaged 2.8 points, 1.1 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 17.1 minutes over 10 Basketball Champions League games in 2019-2020, plus 2.8 points and 1.1 assists in 12.4 minutes over 17 matches of the French Jeep Elite League.
