Abdoulaye N’Doye joined AS Monaco, the French club announced on Wednesday.
“For me, Monaco is a step forward. Through my view, Monaco was my best choice,” remarked the 22-year-old combo guard upon completing his move from Cholet to the La Roca Team, “I am here to win titles because first and foremost am a competitor. I want to win games and am motivated by the requirements of such a team.”
In the past four years, the 22-year-old combo guard competed in Jeep Elite Pro A with Cholet. His next step will include the 7DAYS EuroCup as well.
“I have to get out of my comfort zone,” he admitted, “Playing in the EuroCup was also part of my selection criteria.”
His fourth run in France’s top-tier division sent him to 25 more appearances up to the premature ending of the 2019-20 season due to the coronavirus pandemic. His showings summed up to 10.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.3 steals per game.
The 2020 NBA draft prospect adds on the fresh class of Monaco newcomers featuring Yohan Choupas, Damien Inglis, Marcos Knight, Wesley Saunders, and Darral Willis for returning head coach Zvezdan Mitrovic.
