Lokomotiv Kuban announced that American forward Johnny O’ Bryant left the club for family reasons.
“Unfortunately, we couldn’t finish last season and we won’t see each other again in the new one,” O’ Bryant said per Lokomotiv. “My fond memories of Krasnodar will forever remain in my heart. Thank you coach, president and all my wonderful teammates and fans for your support.”
In 2019-2020, O’ Bryant played in all 30 of the team’s games and was a starter in 29 of them. He averaged 15.5 points overall, 13.8 in EuroCup and 16.4 in VTB League.
“Johnny was one of the team leaders, a strong player, a true professional. He always played for the team. More importantly… a wonderful person,” Lokomotiv coach Evgeny Pashutin said. “We treat him with respect and gratitude for the work he did. We wish him and his family good health, and a successful career to him in the future.”
