Despite winning the Greek SuperCup, Promitheas Patras needed a boost and got it by signing Zamal Nixon.
A former player of Lavrio BC for almost three seasons, Nixon is battle-tested in the Greek league. He has also played in Austria, Poland, in Germany for Nurnberg, Phoenix Hagen, and last season for MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg and in France for Limoges.
The 31 years old guard in seven games of the German BBL during the end of the season tournament, where he made it to the finals with MHP Riesen, he averaged 4.6 points, 1.6 rebound per game.
