Restrictions stemming from the coronavirus pandemic forced the cancellation of the 7DAYS EuroCup Regular Season Round 2 match between Cedevita Olimpija and Frutti Extra Bursaspor, as announced Wednesday.
Per the press release: “The 7DAYS EuroCup Regular Season Round 2 game between Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana and Frutti Extra Bursaspor that was scheduled to be played on Wednesday, October 7 at 18:30 CEST will not take place due to the requirement of the National Institute of Public Health of Slovenia for the entire team to remain in quarantine, as they have been since last Sunday, October 4.
A procedure has been opened that will be evaluated by the Disciplinary Judge who will take a decision in due course in accordance with the 2020–21 Euroleague Basketball Special Regulations due to COVID-19.”
