Milos Teodosic scored 18 points and dished out seven assists, Josh Adams added 17 points and Virtus Bologna beat Lokomotiv Kuban 85 – 79 at home to capture its second straight win in EuroCup Group C.
Kyle Weems added 13 points and seven rebounds for a game-high 23 PIR. He put the icing on Bologna’s win with a 3-pointer in the last seconds.
Mindaugas Kuzminskas (20 points), Will Cummings (18 points) and Jordan Crawford (15 points) were the top scorers for Lokomotiv. The Russian side led 36 – 40 at halftime but was overwhelmed 32 – 20 by the hosts’ offense guided by Teodosic in the third quarter.
Dee Bost broke his EuroCup scoring record (21 points) that he set in the previous week by dropping 25 points as Monaco routed Lietkabelis 82 – 57 at home. Marcos Knight had 16 points for the winning squad that dominated the third period 35 – 8 to get a comfortable win.
Gytis Masiulis had 13 points and six assists for Lietkabelis.
In Tuesday’s Group C game, Andorra got its first victory of the season by defeating Antwerp Giants.
