Germani Brescia captured its first win of the season by downing Ratiopharm Ulm 87 – 84 in overtime. Christian Burns was the man of the extra period for the Italian squad, making two consecutive baskets with his team down 80 – 82 in the last minutes. He finished with 16 points plus six rebounds.
Kenny Cherry led Brescia with a team-high 17 points. TJ Cline had 14 points and seven rebounds while Dusan Ristic notched 12 points and six boards.
Andreas Obst scored a career-high 22 points for Ulm. Dylan Ostekowski added 18 points and seven rebounds while Round 1 MVP Troy Caupain pitched in 18 points and five boards.
In the rest of the Round 2 games for Group B, Mornar Bar beat contender Unicaja Malaga and Buducnost escaped France with a road win over Boulogne Levallois.
