Pierre Melos scored a career-high 28 points and grabbed seven rebounds, Danilo Andjusic added 23 points against his former team and JL Bourg beat Partizan Belgrade 89 – 76 on the road. It was the French side’s first EuroCup game after having two rounds postponed due to multiple coronavirus cases on the team.
Bourg, that saw Zach Peacock exiting the game with an injury early in the third period, led from start to finish and was particularly dominant in the second period, overpowering Partizan 19 – 35. The hosts never recovered enough to present a competitive argument against their opponents.
Nemanja Gordic had 15 points and Nemanja Dangubic 14 for Partizan.
In an overtime thriller that concluded the Group C action, Reyer Venezia defeated Bahcesehir 88 – 82 behind 15 points and nine rebounds by Mike Bramos. Isaac Fotu added 14 points and Julyan Stone dropped 14 for the winning side.
Erick Green scored 22 points for Bahcesehir while Alex Perez posted 19 points and six assists.
Earlier on Wednesday (28/10), Joventut Badalona prevailed in overtime over Unics Kazan 93 – 91, despite the major absences of injured Ante Tomic and Pau Ribas.
Vladimir Brodziansky scored 20 points, including the game-winning hook shot for Badalona after Ferran Bassas’ 13 assists. Jordan Morgan had 23 points and eight rebounds for Unics.
