Following recent head coaching developments at Partizan leading to a separation Vlado Scepanovic, the first name surfacing as a possible replacement was Saso Filipovski. Aleksandar Dzikic returning to the Serbian powerhouse is another option, reports Serbian outlet Mozzart Sport.
Dzikic, 49, has a long history with Partizan, including a head coaching stint in the bottom half of the 2016-17 season. The report ranks him a serious candidate for the job alongside Filipovski.
Partizan is 2-3 in 7DAYS EuroCup, only good enough for fifth place in Group A. A 2-2 ABA League season start lands sixth place in the standings.
