Partizan Belgrade has reached a verbal agreement with coach Saso Filipovksi according to Mozzart Sport. Filipovski and Partizan are expected to finalize their deal by the end of the week when the Slovenian coach will officially take over the team.
Filipovski has been one of the main candidates to replace Vlado Skepanovic at the helm of Partizan, together with Aleksandar Dzikic.
By joining with Partizan, Filipovski will return to coaching a team for the first time since early 2019 when his stint with AS Monaco was terminated. The Slovenian coach will also make his return to ABA League after six years.
