Three previously postponed 7DAYS EuroCup games included yet another win for Partizan NIS under Saso Filipovski

Partizan NIS remained perfect through four games in all competitions since Saso Filipovski took over as head coach with the latest win, 78-75, reached against shorthanded Joventut Badalona Thursday evening in Belgrade.

Nemanja Gordic’s contribution amounted to a team-high 16 points. Codi Miller-McIntyre followed with 13 of his own, including a clutch bucket for the 76-72 lead with 28 seconds to go.

The delayed 7DAYS EuroCup Regular Season Group A Round 6 contest featured a special guest in Zeljko Obradovic. The former coach of both teams surfaced at the Ranko Zeravica Sports Hall enjoying the game.

The visitors missing several players the likes of Ante Tomic, Pau Ribas, and Nenad Dimitrijevic put up a fight down the stretch but the comeback attempt fell short. Shawn Dawson got to 19 points, Vladimir Brodziansky and Xabi López-Arostegui had 16 apiece.

In other Group A action, originally scheduled for Round 4, UNICS Kazan defeated JL Bourg, 86-74, on the road.

Isaiah Canaan with a game-high 23 points kept his side in control throughout the second half. Jamar Smith put up 20 points and Jordan Morgan added 17.

Kadeem Allen with 17 points behind 7/9 field goals was not enough for the French outlet.

Group C postponed action featured MoraBanc Andorra charging to the win, 82-69, against the Telenet Giants Antwerp.

David Jelinek poured a season-high 20 points in the Regular Season Round 7 affair. Oriol Pauli accounted for 11 points, nine rebounds, and four steals.

The winless opponents had Ibrahima Fall Faye at 22 points and Jalen Jenkins finished with 18.
