Boulogne Metropolitans 92 officially signed guard/forward Archie Goodwin for the rest of 2020-21.

Boulogne Metropolitans 92 added some firepower to its lineup with the signing of swingman Archie Goodwin for the remainder of the season. Goodwin (1.96 meters, 26 years old) returns to Europe after splitting last season between Turkey and Germany. He averaged 17.8 points, 2.5 assists and 1.9 steals in 17 games for Sigortam.net ITU. Goodwin was chosen as MVP of the Turkish League all-star game after pouting in 33 points. In February, he joined ratiopharm Ulm and was worth 12.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists before the league was shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Goodwin was a college teammate of Zenit St Petersburg’s Alex Poythress at the University of Kentucky before beginning his professional career in the NBA, where he played for Phoenix, New Orleans and Brooklyn over parts of four seasons between 2013 and 2017. He also had stints in the NBA D-League with Bakersfield, Greensboro, Northern Arizona and Maine and played briefly in China for Zhejiang Golden Bulls. Goodwin will make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut with Metropolitans.
