Bahcesehir Koleji brings in scoring power by adding Shannon Evans. The deal was made official Saturday.
Evans, 26, started the 2020-21 season in France attached to Elan Bearnais Pau-Lacq-Orthez. He posted 23 points, 6.3 assists, 2.7 steals, and 2.0 assists per Jeep Elite Pro A contest over three appearances.
His fourth European campaign after a four-year NCAA run featuring Buffalo and Arizona State moves him to Turkey. He previously competed in Hungary going through a couple of seasons with ASE.
The Turkish outlet at 1-7 has been eliminated from the Top 16 despite the two games remaining. A 4-4 tally at the domestic level is good enough for eighth place.
