Gran Canaria announced that the club signed center Oliver Stevic to a contract for the rest of the 2020-2021 season. The veteran Serbian big man will making his return to EuroCup where he has played for six seasons with multiple teams.
Stevic, 36, was released by Fuenlabrada after making use of an opt-out clause on his contract. He has been averaging 7.7 points and 5.5 rebounds in 19:38 minutes over six Spanish ACB League games so far.
Before Fuenlabrada, Stevic played in Spain for such teams as Andorra, adalona, Burgos and Bilbao. He also had stints with Crvena Zvezda and Zielona Gora, among others.
