Gran Canaria players fired 3-pointers at will, finishing with 16 thanks to which they defeated Bursaspor 89 – 76 at home to get at a pole position for finishing first in EuroCup Group D.
Stan Okoye led the charge for Gran Canaria with 21 points and six assists while Tomas Dimsa had 18 points on 6-8 triples. Xavier Munford had 15 points for the still winless Bursaspor.
In the other two Group D games, Cedevita Olimpija and Nanterre 92 made a step towards the Top 16 by beating Trento and Promitheas respectively.
