Gal Mekel logged three points, one assist and one rebound in the five minutes he spent on the court against Germani Brescia, however, he was forced to exit the game after an injury.
The tests diagnosed him with a broken second metacarpal bone in the left hand and after undergoing surgery, the guard will be out for around two months, the club announced.
That leaves the team without another player at the guard position, following the already absent Alberto Diaz and Jaime Fernandez.
Mekel, 32, played seven games this season for Unicaja in EuroCup and the Spanish League, averaging 8.7 points, 4.9 assists and two rebounds in 20 minutes.
