EuroCup suspends both Nanterre – Bursaspor games

EuroLeague Basketball announced that the two rescheduled games between Nanterre 92 and Bursaspor that were planned to be played this upcoming week are suspended due to the Turkish side having multiples COVID-19 cases.

Per EuroCup:

Euroleague Basketball has announced the following schedule changes in the 2020-21 7DAYS EuroCup Regular Season.

• Nanterre 92 vs. Frutti Extra Bursaspor, which was rescheduled to be played on Monday, December 14, has been suspended. Bursaspor requested the suspension of the game due to multiple COVID-19 positive cases that do not allow the team to have a minimum eight players on the Authorisation List fit to play.

• Frutti Extra Bursaspor vs. Nanterre 92, originally scheduled to be played on Wednesday, December 16, has been suspended. Bursaspor requested the suspension of the game due to multiple COVID-19 positive cases that do not allow the team to have a minimum eight players on the Authorisation List fit to play.

Following the modification of the Special Regulations due to COVID-19, approved by the ECA Shareholders Executive Board, each game can be rescheduled up to three times, if there are available dates. Euroleague Basketball will coordinate with all teams the best options to reschedule their games. Alternative dates will be announced on official Euroleague Basketball platforms once confirmed.
