With all Top 16 places decided for Group A, we will have a few extra days for the winner of the group to be decided following tonight’s results.
JL Bourg defeated visiting Partizan 73-71 and could clinch the top spot tonight, hadn’t it been for Joventut Badalona’s victory. Danilo Andjusic led the winners with 16 points, Pierre Pelos tapped 12 points and Thomas Scrubb posted 10. The Serbian team played its first game under coach Saso Filipovski and had Rashawn Thomas leading the way with 15 points.
Joventut Badalona beat UNICS Kazan 84-77 paced by a 23-point performance by Nenad Dimitrijevic, Xavi Lopes-Arostegui had 17 points and Ferran Bassas added 12 points. On the other end of the court, John Holland posted 20 points for the Russian side and Isaiah Canaah dropped 16.
Bahcesehir defeated Umana Reyer Venice 108-74 to finish its EuroCup season with its first home victory. Jamal Jones led the way with 26 points on 5-of-5 three-point shooting, while Erick Green added 21. Thomas Robinson had a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds. Isaac Fotu and Stefano Tonut both scored 21 points for Reyer, with Andrea De Nicolao scoring 12 and Julyan Stone adding 11. Both teams are already eliminated, as Bahcesehir finishes its EuroCup season at 2-8 while Reyer (2-7) has one more game remaining.
