Lokomotiv Kuban is close to reaching an agreement with free agent guard Nigel Williams-Goss according to Mozzart Sport. Williams-Goss was waived by the Utah Jazz earlier this month.
If a deal between the two sides is finalized, Williams-Goss will be returning to Europe for the first time since 2018-2019 stint with Olympiacos Piraues. He then averaged 9.2 points, 4.2 assists and 2.0 rebounds in 26:16 minutes of his debut EuroLeague season.
In 2019-2020, Williams-Goss appeared in 10 NBA games with Utah, averaging 1.4 points. He spent more time with in G League with the Salt Lake City Stars, posting 1.53 points, 5.5 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 29.6 minutes over 17 games.
