Andorra downs Mornar to snap skid

Morabanc Andorra grabbed its first win after four EuroCup losses by beating Mornar Bar 74 – 71 on the road in the second round of the EuroCup Top 16.

Clevin Hannah scored 16 points, including the go-ahead 3-pointer for Andorra, making it 71- 72 with 38 seconds to play. After two free throws by Tyson Perez, Jacob Pullen missed in his 3-point attempt to tie the game.

Pullen finished with 23 points and was the only Mornar player to score in double figures. Artsiom Parakhouski contributed 12 points and seven rebounds for Andorra while Jeremy Senglin dropped 11 points.

A couple of hours before, Unics Kazan shut down Gran Canaria 73 – 62. John Holland (14 points), Artem Klimenko (13 points, five rebounds0 and Jamar Smith (13 points) stood out for the winning squad.

Stan Okoye had 12 points for Gran Canaria.
