Joventut Badalona overcame Nanterre 92 95 – 90 at home to capture its second win in two games of the EuroCup Top 16.
Vladimir Brodziansky (17 points, six rebounds), Shawn Dawson (16 points), Ante Tomic (14 points) and Nenad Dimitrijevic (12 points, eight assists) led an overall balanced offensive effort for Badalona, especially after the first quarter. The hosts were down 10 – 20 but recovered to tie the game at 47 at halftime and then proceeded to establish a steady lead after the mid of the third period.
Tyler Stone had 26 points and Chris Warren 16 for Nanterre.
In the other match for Group E, Monaco routed Unicaja Malaga. Malaga coach Luis Casimiro was fired in the game’s aftermath.
