Jaka Blazic scored 30 points and grabbed seven rebounds as Cedevita Olimpija defeated JL Bourg 94 – 91 at home to capture its second straight win in the EuroCup Top 16.
Jarrod Jones had 16 points and Mikael Hopkins added 16 points plus seven assists while scoring two key free throws in the final minute. Kendrick Perry had 14 points and eight assists.
Bourg was down by eight with 4 minutes to play but came back to make it 92 – 91 with 19 seconds remaining. Hopkins then hit a pair of free throws while on the other end Danilo Andjusic (25 points) didn’t make the game-tying shot.
In the other Group G game of this round, Virtus Bologna registered its 13th straight win by beating Buducnost at home.
