Bursaspor brings back guard Allerik Freeman with a deal for the upcoming season, the club announced Thursday.
26-year-old Freeman spent the first part of last season with ASVEL, where he made his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut, averaging 7.4 points, 1.2 assists and 1.1 rebounds in 18 games, while he had 13.3 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists in the French Jeep Elite. Now he is set to make his EuroCup debut with the Turkish club.
The American guard returns to Bursaspor where he shined during the first part of the 2019-20 campaign, as he was among the top scorers in the Turkish BSL that season, with 18.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 4.1 assists in 14 games, before leaving for Shenzhen of the Chinese Basketball Association, where he averaged 25.5 points in four games before the season was suspended.
