Weems: “My family and I are very excited! I thank the ownership and the club. We had a great time in Bologna and it’s an honour to be able to spend two more years with this club and play for this wonderful fans. I can’t wait to start the season, to meet Coach Scariolo, who I’ve seen coach the Spanish national team for a long time, the Staff, and to fight together with my teammates.”
The words of General Manager, Paolo Ronci: “After an important win, new feelings must be perceived. From the pride of being Champions with this jersey you have to jump immediately to the ambition to try again, to win again. On the evening of the Championship day, Kyle spoke to us about Virtus, its fans and new challenges together. A few words and very concrete. On behalf of Virtus Segafredo, I express my satisfaction for the contract renewal until June 30, 2023.”

Now Weems is ready to continue defending black and white colors and fighting for the Virtus jersey.
