Virtus Bologna has signed veteran guard Milos Teodosic to a contract extension until the end of the 2022-23 season, the club confirmed Thursday.
Teodosic, 34, first joined Virtus in the 2019-20 season that came to an abrupt end, after his two-season NBA run. In the 2020-21 campaign, the experienced Serbian guard paced the Italian side with 15.4 points, 6.9 assists and 3 rebounds in 19 7DAYS EuroCup contests. Upon his arrival to the club, he has earned the EuroCup season MVP honors twice.
“In July 2019 I said that I had come here to win and to become Italian Champions. In July 2021 I say that I am staying to win again. I would like to thank Mr. Zanetti, I know what he expects of us”, commented Teodosic upon the announcement of his new contract with the team.
