Ekpe Udoh is in talks with Partizan NIS and Virtus Segafredo Bologna, as confirmed by Eurohoops sources from the side of the player.
Udoh, 34, wants to return to Europe, as he recently explained to Eurohoops. While aiming for a Turkish Airlines EuroLeague comeback, his side considers the approaching teams EuroLeague-level clubs, despite both Virtus Bologna and Partizan set for the 2021-22 edition of the 7DAYS EuroCup.
His last European appearance concluded with the 2017 EuroLeague title as the Final Four MVP. After Fenerbahce, he returned to the NBA earning a spot in the Utah Jazz roster for two seasons and also moved his talents to China’s CBA.
Partizan, extremely busy in the summer market, hopes to reunite him with his former coach at Fener, Zeljko Obradovic. On the other end, the LBA champions are searching for a big to replace Julian Gamble.
The Nigerian forward/center averaged 6.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.8 blocks, 1.5 assists, and 1.3 steals per CBA match last season.
