Gran Canaria signs Ennis, Andorra gets Miller-McIntyre

Gran Canaria announced the addition of former All-EuroCup (2019) and All-Basketball Champions League (2020, 2021) guard Dylan Ennis. The club from Las Palmas signed the player after reaching an agreement with Zaragoza, his now former team.

Gran Canaria added fire power and energy to its roster by inking combo guard Dylan Ennis, the club announced Tuesday. Ennis (1.87 meters, 29 years old) arrives from Casademont Zaragoza, where he averaged 15.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.5 steals in 36 Spanish League games last season. He started his professional career with Mega Bemax of Serbia and also played for MoraBanc Andorra and AS Monaco before starting a second stint with Zaragoza. He helped Andorra reach the EuroCup semifinals in 2019, took Zaragoza to the Basketball Champions League semifinals in 2020 and 2021, and made it to the NCAA Tournament final four with the University of Oregon in 2017. Ennis was named to the 2018-19 All-EuroCup Second Team, averaging 12.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.4 steals in 21 games with Andorra. He has also been a member of the Jamaican national team.

Andorra, another Spanish EuroCup club, also made a strong acquisition by signing guard Codi Miller-McIntyre. The American player last played with Bourg, averaging 10.9 points, 4.4 assists and 3.2 rebounds in the French Jeep Elite League.
