Lithuanian team Lietkabelis secures the services of Dovydas Giedraitis for the next season, the team announced Monday. He was loaned out by Movistar Estudiantes.
Giedraitis, 21, spent the last three seasons competing in the ACB for Estudiantes. He averaged 6.4 points and 1.1 rebounds per 2020-21 game as his side was relegated to LEB Oro.
The next season will mark his first appearance in the 7DAYS EuroCup. He will also debut in Lithuania’s LKL since he did not make his country’s top-tier division before moving to Spain.
The Panevezys club has already added Kaspars Berzins, Kristupas Zemaitis, Gediminas Orelik, Nikola Radicevic, and Djordje Gagic in an extremely busy offseason so far. In addition, Panagiotis Kalaitzakis inked a contract extension.
