MoraBanc Andorra announced Tuesday they have signed young forward Mario Nakic to a two-year deal, confirming Eurohoops’ reports.
Nakic, 20, arrives from Filou Ostend, where he averaged 8.4 points on 56.7% three-point shooting in 22 Belgian League games last season, helping the team win the Belgian league and cup titles in 2021.
He started his career with Zemun and Partizan Belgrade of his native Serbia, joining Real Madrid‘s youth structure in 2015. He made his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut with Los Blancos in the 2019-20 campaign and was part of the U18 Real Madrid win the Euroleague Basketball Adidas Next Generation Tournament in 2019, earning MVP honors.
He averaged 17.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.5 steals in 4 games, scoring 33 points in the Championship Game against U18 Mega Bemax Belgrade.
