Looking to strengthen inside after parting ways with Mangok Mathiang and Hayden Dalton, Cedevita Olimpija acquired Zach Auguste, the team announced Monday.
Auguste. 28, is on his way back to the 7DAYS EuroCup. His run with Galatasaray produced his first 26 appearances split between 2018-19 and 2019-20.
The Greek-American center spent the previous season at Panathinaikos OPAP. His 4.6 points and 2.3 rebounds per Turkish Airlines EuroLeague contest made out his second stint at the Greens. He went on registering 6.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game in the 2021 Las Vegas NBA Summer League playing for the Boston Celtics.
The team based in Ljubljana, also competing in the ABA League, has already secured the services of Jacob Pullen, Blaz Habot, Jackie Carmichael, Melvin Ejim, Marko Radovanovic, and Marcus Keene, while re-signing Edo Muric, and Sasa Ciani this summer.
