Willie Reed has penned a contract extension with Buducnost VOLI for the next season, his agency announced Thursday.
Reed, 31, was named to the All-EuroCup First team in his first season at the team based in Podgorica. He logged 12.7 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per 7DAYS EuroCup game. In the ABA League, he averaged 9.2 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per contest.
The former center of Saint Louis has made his way to 152 NBA games between the Miami Heat, Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Clippers, and Detroit Pistons. His career also includes a Turkish Airlines EuroLeague campaign as a member of the 2019-20 Olympiacos squad.
The Montenegrin side prior to keeping a key part of the 2020-21 squad, had picked up D.J. Seeley, Vladimir Micov, Jacob Wiley, Marko Jagodic-Kuridza, Edin Atic, and Igor Drobnjak this summer.
