Coach Andrea Trinchieri and Partizan parted ways in July 2020 with their contract having one more year left on it. The coach went on to Bayern’s bench but he wasn’t satisfied with how everything was handled with his former team.
Trinchieri filed a lawsuit and was asking for salaries and bonuses that have been owed to him but was also asking for the full payment of the season during which he worked at Bayern.
Basketball Arbitral Tribunal (BAT) ruled in the coach’s favor, however, he will not be getting the full amount. That is, he will have to be paid a total of 70,875 euros, as Partizan president Ostoja Mijailovic told Mozzart Sport. That is around ten times less than the 711,600 euros which were asked in the lawsuit by the coach’s side.
