After his negotiations with Crvena Zvezda, according to multiple reports from Serbia, Mathias Lessort has now turned to Partizan as the sides are trying to reach a deal. However, according to Eurohoops sources, the interest of Partizan is minimal at this point and debatable.
The French big’s talks with Zvezda reportedly had stalled due to some issues of private nature, as well as a financial conflicth, while it’s not yet clear at what stage is his negotiations with Partizan.
Last season, Lessort played for Monaco and had a key role in pushing the squad to the EuroCup trophy and the spot in EuroLeague that goes along with it. He averaged 11.5 points and 5.9 rebounds over 54 games in EuroCup and the French League.
