Johnathan Motley and Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar greeted the new season with a splash over MoraBanc Andorra and a 93-82 victory on Wednesday.
Motley, who made his EuroCup debut against Andorra, set sights for this week’s MVP honors with a 29-point performance on 10-12 FG, along with 8 rebounds and 9 fouls received for a total PIR of 39.
On top of Motley’s performance, Darius Thompson had 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 steals for Evgeny Pashutin’s squad while Errick McCollum dropped 18 points and 6 assists.
Codi Miller-McIntyre added 19 points and 5 assists for Andorra and Victor Arteaga had 10 points.
