Although they were down ten points in the second quarter, Segafredo Virtus Bologna managed to turn the tables and eventually get a convincing 87-76 home win.
Mam Jaiteh was dominant in the paint with 20 points on 8-10 shooting while Jakkar Sampson scored 17 and Marco Belinelli 15 points.
For Ulm, Semaj Christon scored 14 in addition to Cristiano Felicio’s 13 points.
The EuroCup night started off with a duel between Buducnost VOLI and Valencia in Group B as the Montenegrin hosts stole the win thanks to the game-winning two-pointer by Justin Cobbs with 22 seconds remaining.
Valencia couldn’t respond on the other side, turning the ball over while trying to get it to Bojan Dubljevic in the paint, who fell over. Coach Joan Penarroya wasn’t happy at all with the referees after it.

Cobbs finished with ten points while Edin Atic led the scorers with 17 and Vladimir Micov helped with 14 points. On the other side, Klemen Prepelic scored 14 and Jasiel Rivero 11 points.
Another ABA League squad in Cedevita Olimpija was victorious as they got a 91-79 home win against JL Bourg. Edo Muric and Marcus Keene led the way with 21 and 20 points respectively.
For the French squad, Pierre Pelos had 21 and Axel Julien 20 points.
