Johnathan Motley did his part to keep Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar undefeated in 7DAYS EuroCup with a 99-85 victory over Boulogne Metropolitans 92 at home.
Motley posted a game-high performance with 30 points, along with 10 rebounds and 3 assists for a PIR of 38 to lead Lokomotiv. The EuroCup rookie sets sails for another MVP honor, following that of the opening round.
Young gun Andrei Martiuk contributed 15 points and 7 rebounds across 26 minutes on the court, while Errick McCollum posted 18 points. Darius Thompson signed off with a double-double of 15 points, 11 assists, and 6 rebounds for Evgeny Pashutin’s squad that remains perfect in Group A.
On the other end of the court, Will Cumming posted another significant performance for the French team with 24 points, 8 assists and 7 rebounds and Vince Hunter had a double-double of his own with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Nonetheless, Boulogne slipped to a 1-2 record.
Earlier in the week, Partizan and Kevin Punter emerged to take down Joventut Badalona to keep their undefeated status alive.
