The two-time NBA champion Quinn Cook and Lokomotiv Kuban are parting ways, per Eurohoops’ Aris Barkas. The decision is mutual and Cook who is already in the US for the holiday break will not return to Krasnodar.
Cook joined the team back in late October and played six games, three in VTB League and three in 7DAYS EuroCup. He averaged 5.5 points, 2.7 assists and one rebound over that span in 13 minutes of playing time.
He previously went through stints at the Dallas Mavericks, New Orleans Pelicans, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, and Cleveland Cavaliers, including the 2018 and 2020 championships with the Warriors and Lakers, respectively. His NBA experience amounts to 228 games, including 40 Playoff tilts. Splitting the 2020-21 NBA Regular Season between the Lakers and Cavaliers, he registered 3.3 points, 0.8 assists, and 0.7 rebounds per match.
